Support for the camp for the children's home

The project organized by Spolek Bobeš is intended for children and young people aged 13-18 growing up in children's homes. The aim of the camp is not only to offer children a meaningful time, but above all to give them practical knowledge and skills that they will use in everyday life and when entering independent life.

The camp program is based on three main pillars:

Personal development
Participants work on self-knowledge, communication, self-confidence and the ability to make independent decisions through games, group activities and practical exercises. Personal identity was also an important topic – that is, the awareness of who they are, where they belong and what place they can have in society.

Financial literacy
Young people learn the basics of money management, planning income and expenses, drawing up a personal budget or recognizing the risks associated with loans, debts and financial fraud. This knowledge is particularly important for children growing up in children's homes, as it helps them better prepare for independent life.

Legal minimum
The program also includes familiarization with basic legal issues that they may encounter in adult life – for example, in the area of ​​employment contracts, housing or common life situations.
In addition to educational activities, the camp also offered children space for experiences, movement and building relationships. Participants could try out activities in a rope park focused on movement and developing cooperation, experience an adrenaline ride on a bobsleigh track or enjoy water games and relaxation in the pool.

An important part of the camp was also the development of communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts and strengthening responsibility for one's own decisions. Thanks to practical situations, workshops and joint activities, the participants were able to safely try out solutions to situations that may arise in the future.

Our financial support of 60 000 Kč helped to ensure the implementation of the camp, professional teaching activities, educational materials, accommodation and meals for the participants.

We are happy to be able to support a project that offers young people something very important - not only new experiences and knowledge, but also a space to discover their own abilities, strengthen self-confidence and better prepare for the future.
